Summary: The engine wasn’t running properly because important parts that control power and exhaust gases weren’t working the right way. Mercedes replaced the turbocharger so the engine could make the right amount of power again. They also replaced the exhaust manifold and catalytic converter so exhaust gases could flow properly and emissions would be controlled correctly. After reinstalling the transmission and changing the coolant to keep the engine cool, everything was able to work together smoothly again. Because the work was completed by Mercedes-Benz under warranty and fully certified, you can feel confident that the concern was completely resolved.
